There have been tons of rumors about Starcraft 2, and even more rumors about a certain
secret project that Blizzard has been up to, and a lot of people hope and suspect that it
is Starcraft 2. Or at least another expansion to go along with Starcraft. I decided to
make this section and post all of the rumors that I hear about it and the reasoning behind
it.
Why wouldn't Blizzard make Starcraft 2?
Coming from a business point of view, not making Starcraft 2 would be absolutely stupid!
This game is still one of the top 10 selling games according to PC Gamer and that's more
then 3 years after its initial release date! That is incredible staying power! A sequel to
this great game would certainly be a best seller not only in the United States, but also
Korea and all over the world!
The domain name...
Starcraft2.com has been registered, and by doing a Whois on the domain, you will find that
Havas Interactive has purchased the domain name, Blizzard's parent company. If they
weren't planning on releasing game, why would they buy the domain name? But it is possible
that they did this so they wouldn't have other web sites that basically have nothing to do
with Starcraft put there web site there and making fun of the game, but I doubt it!
